Recently, the Hanoi Department of Tourism issued an official dispatch requesting that businesses providing travel services and transporting tourists not introduce or organize tours to bring tourists to the railway coffee business area in the three wards of Cua Nam, Hang Bong and Cua Dong (Hanoi).
The railway coffee street is about 2km long, connecting Le Duan, Tran Phu, Cua Dong and Phung Hung streets. It is a destination that many international newspapers consider a must-see when visiting Hanoi.

According to Dan Tri reporters, the number of visitors to the train street coffee street was still very high over the past two weekends. However, the number of tours has gradually decreased, mainly foreign tourists come by themselves to capture moments in this special street.

Authorities have installed many warning signs in different areas along both Phung Hung and Le Duan streets to warn and ensure safety for residents and tourists.
Although these signs are placed in easy-to-see locations, many tourists seem to be oblivious to the potential dangers.

A tour guide said that since the Hanoi Department of Tourism issued a document, he has refused requests from guests to experience watching the trains. Guests passing by the train street often linger to take photos, check in for about 5 minutes, and then leave.
"No matter what, ensuring the safety of tourists is always the most important thing. This also helps to establish order and security for the railway safety corridor better and better," he added.

The train street section from Tran Phu to Phung Hung is about 300m long, called "new train street coffee street" by tourists, and especially attracts foreign visitors.
Along the railway corridor, the cafes are always packed with customers at any time of the day, especially foreign tourists who come to visit and enjoy the unique space here.

Staff are busy serving, arranging seats and ensuring the best experience of watching the trains pass by for visitors.

Bow (a 35-year-old American tourist) said that before coming to Vietnam, he often read articles introducing the train street coffee street in Hanoi on social networks, so he came here to experience it.
"It was really interesting to see the train from just a few meters away, I plan to explore this beautiful country for another two weeks," the excited tourist said.

15 minutes before the train passed, authorities coordinated with railway staff and business owners along the route to simultaneously issue announcements, reminding tourists to move to safe areas.

The moment the train appears on the tracks is the moment that tourists eagerly await, when they have the opportunity to witness and experience the feeling of watching the train pass by at close range.

Hundreds of tourists raised their phones and cameras close to the railway to capture impressive moments, with faces full of excitement and unable to hide their surprise at this unique scene.

Previously, the People's Committee of Hoan Kiem District had repeatedly requested to punish business activities on the railway coffee street when violations in the railway traffic safety corridor in the district showed signs of recurring and were not thoroughly resolved (Photo: Ha Tung).
