In Shenzhen city, China, a fully automatic noodle shop has just appeared and attracted the attention of many diners.

The noodle shop is called Future Noodle Restaurant, with an area of about 8 square meters. The entire processing is done by robots, MSN reported on March 16.

Each bowl of noodles is prepared in just 48 seconds, with prices ranging from 9.9 to 20 yuan (VND35,000-70,000). The noodle shop serves more than 10 different types of noodles and side dishes such as pickled eggs and grilled sausages.

Customers order at the self-service counter, pay, and watch the entire process through a transparent window. Many diners have lined up to enjoy a bowl of noodles prepared by a robot.

The robot starts by mixing water with flour, kneading the dough, rolling it into thin sheets, and cutting it into noodles, all in less than eight seconds. Then the beef and noodles are placed in a bowl, hot water is poured in, and the dish is cooked in 40 seconds.

Finally, a robotic arm will bring the hot bowl of noodles to the diner.

One diner said: "The noodles were cooked perfectly, the beef was fresh and tender." However, another asked: "Do noodles made this way still have soul? Are they really delicious?"

“AI should focus on replacing jobs that are difficult for humans, like space exploration or deep-sea rescue, not replacing jobs that humans are already good at,” another commented.

The company behind the automatic noodle shop is Wanjie Intelligent, which was founded in 1996 and is based in Henan Province, China. A company representative said it took them 10 years to develop the automatic noodle machine.
