The Secretariat expelled from the Party Mr. Huynh Van Tam, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Organization Board, former Director of the Gia Lai Department of Home Affairs, and Hoa Cong Hau, former Director of the Tay Ninh Department of Health.
At the meeting on June 27, the Secretariat assessed that Mr. Huynh Van Tam and Hoa Cong Hau, during their time holding the assigned positions, had degraded in political ideology, ethics, and lifestyle; violated Party regulations and State laws in performing assigned duties and tasks; violated regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example.
These violations "caused very serious consequences, outraged public opinion, and negatively affected the reputation of the Party organization and local government."
Therefore, the Secretariat decided to expel Mr. Huynh Van Tam and Hoa Cong Hau from the Party.
Previously, in April 2022, Mr. Tam was prosecuted for allegedly causing a loss of VND 979 million during the implementation of a software development project for the unit. In May 2022, Mr. Hau was prosecuted for allegedly violating bidding activities.

At today's meeting, the Secretariat also warned the Party Delegation of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance for the terms 2015 - 2020, 2020 - 2025.
The Party Delegation of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance is said to have violated the principles of organization and operation of the Party; violated the Party's regulations, the State's laws and working regulations; lacked responsibility, loosened leadership and direction, allowing the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance and many organizations and individuals to commit many violations and shortcomings in organization, personnel, management, use of finance, public assets, land, investment projects, and emulation and reward work.
The above violations are assessed to have caused serious consequences; internal disunity, weakening the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization, prolonged complaints and denunciations; risk of causing great loss and damage to the budget, state assets and capital of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance.
Previously, in mid-June, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Bao, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance, was warned by the Central Inspection Committee.
