Movie "War without borders"

The film The War Without Borders revolves around Lieutenant Colonel Trung, an elite soldier who has just been assigned as the Chief of Muong Luong Border Guard Station. He and his teammates guard the border day and night, fight drug crimes, smuggling and perform many other special tasks to help improve the lives of ethnic minorities.

Another storyline is the story of Hieu - Trung's younger brother, who was originally rebellious but gradually matured during his military service in a Navy unit. The image of the two brothers Trung - Hieu, one guarding the border, the other protecting the sea and sky of the Fatherland, symbolizes the soldiers of Uncle Ho's Army in the new era.

The War Without Borders was made to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army. According to Major General Le Xuan Sang, Deputy Director of the Propaganda Department, General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, after watching the first episodes, one can see the meticulous investment of the production team. The content and images in the film are simple and realistic, reflecting the hardships and sacrifices of military officers and soldiers in the task of building and protecting the Fatherland. Through that, it is hoped that the film will be well received by the audience, helping them better understand the lives and work of military officers and soldiers today.

The film crew also revealed that in order to have epic military drill scenes with many realistic and epic heavy equipment and weapons, the film received coordination and human resource support from the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army.

The film War Without Borders aired from September 11, directed by Nguyen Danh Dung tells the story of border guards in the fierce fight against drug crimes. This is the next work of the director of the films Come Home, My Child, Life is Still Beautiful... The film brings together a cast of actors who are loved by the audience and highly appreciated for their talent: Meritorious Artist Hoang Hai, Viet Anh, Ha Viet Dung, Thu Quynh, To Dung...

The main setting of the film takes place mainly in Moc Chau district, Son La province. The film crew worked on quite rugged terrain, making it difficult to move. Director - Meritorious Artist Nguyen Danh Dung affirmed that authenticity is the top priority, all equipment and weapons filmed in the film are real.

The 40-episode series War Without Borders will be released to the audience at 9:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday every week on VTV1 channel, starting from September 11, 2023.
