Contestants are cadres, civil servants, public employees; union members, youth, students in the province who have an interest and passion for researching and learning about cultural and historical tourism (cadres, civil servants, union members, youth working at tourism agencies and units; museums, historical and revolutionary sites and sites in the province).

The contest will be held in 2 rounds: The preliminary round will be completed in July 2025 (writing an explanatory essay) and the final round will be completed in October 2025 (direct presentation). With their own knowledge, understanding and feelings, the contestants will write an explanatory essay to introduce the revolutionary historical relics and scenic spots in the province, focusing on special national relic sites (Ba Be Lake, ATK Cho Don); National relic sites (Na Tu historical relic, Phu Thong Fort site, Deo Giang Victory site, etc.); scenic spots of the province. The Organizing Committee will award prizes including First, Second, Third prizes and additional prizes for creative and impressive contests.

According to Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Thi Dung, the contest aims to recreate events and stories, demonstrate creativity and enrich the source of documents on the province's folk cultural values. On that basis, introduce to the people and tourists from all over the world the cultural traditions, land and people of Bac Kan province. The contest aims to encourage everyone, especially young people, to learn, experience and write explanatory essays introducing the value of revolutionary historical relics, contributing to educating the people's traditions and pride in the stature and value of revolutionary historical relics, thereby raising awareness and responsibility of the people in preserving, conserving and promoting traditional cultural and historical values ​​in Bac Kan province.

The Organizing Committee calls on all cadres, civil servants, public employees, lecturers, teachers, students of schools in the province, union members, and young people who meet the criteria, have interests and passion for research, learning about tourism, culture, history, and scenic spots, to actively participate in the Contest with the sense of responsibility of the children of Bac Kan. Local agencies and units coordinate in directing propaganda, dissemination of the purpose, meaning and mobilizing cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, especially students to respond to and participate in the Contest./.
