Luong Dinh Cua Primary School and Colette Secondary School, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City have just been awarded the Label FrancEducation educational quality accreditation badge by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Europe.

On December 13, Mr. Olivier Brochet - French Ambassador to Vietnam - presented the Label FrancEducation educational quality accreditation sign of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Europe to Luong Dinh Cua Primary School and Colette Secondary School, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City.
Education Quality Certification
The two schools were awarded the badge after a process of evaluating the quality of French language teaching in the school. The awarding of this badge gives the two schools the honor of joining the network of schools with the best French language teaching programs worldwide.
Luong Dinh Cua Primary School is the first educational institution in Ho Chi Minh City to implement a French bilingual program since 1994. Mr. Nguyen Van Loi - the school's principal - said that in the 2024-2025 school year, the school will have 165 students studying in the French bilingual class, equivalent to 5 classes, 1 class per grade. Students studying the program are always confident, dynamic, and continue to study at higher levels.
"Achieving the Label FrancEducation quality accreditation title affirms the school's efforts in teaching and learning for the French bilingual program. This is both a motivation and an opportunity for students and teachers of the school to participate in connecting, further improving the quality of the French program, and further meeting the trust of parents" - Mr. Loi informed.
At Colette Secondary School, in the 2024-2025 school year, about 300 students are studying the French bilingual program. The school principal said that being awarded the FrancEducation Label is a precious gift for the school in teaching and continuing to strive to improve the quality of teaching.

So far, Ho Chi Minh City has 4 schools honored to be awarded the FrancEducation Label, including: Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted; Nguyen Thi Minh Khai High School; Luong Dinh Cua Primary School and Colette Secondary School. The whole country has 21 schools awarded this label by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Europe.
According to the French Embassy, there are currently 600 schools in the world that have been awarded the FrancEducation Label.
Speaking at the award ceremony, Mr. Olivier Brochet - French Ambassador to Vietnam - emphasized that the FrancEducation Label is a very special and valuable brand of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Europe, the French Ministry of Education and Training, affirming the school's educational quality in the French education system.
Accreditation first of all affirms the quality of education of the school, recognition for the efforts of the school's teaching staff and students studying French.
Regarding the two schools, Luong Dinh Cua Primary School and Colette Secondary School, Mr. Olivier Brochet assessed that the recognition of the FrancEducation Label educational quality assessment once again affirms the continuous efforts and striving of the teaching staff, French teachers and students studying the program, which is officially recognized by the two countries.
"In Vietnam, the FrancEducation Label education quality accreditation was recognized by the Vietnamese State during the official visit and working session of General Secretary To Lam in Paris last October, in the signing of a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement between the two countries, education was also emphasized and special programs were exchanged" - Mr. Olivier Brochet informed.
