Recently, Hanoi University of Industry has established the School of Economics, based on the merger and reorganization of the Faculty of Business Administration and the Faculty of Accounting and Auditing. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Nga was appointed as the principal, Mr. Vu Dinh Khoa as the Vice Principal of the School of Economics.
This is the third school in the system of schools under Hanoi University of Industry to be established. The other two schools are the School of Mechanics - Automobiles and the School of Foreign Languages - Tourism.

According to Hanoi University of Industry, the School of Economics was established to restructure, concentrate resources (human resources, facilities, equipment for training and research), promote autonomy for more effective development, which is an important policy in the development strategy for the period 2020 - 2025, vision 2030 of Hanoi University of Industry; creating a premise to transform the governance model from "university" to "university" of many disciplines and fields.
According to the establishment plan, the School of Economics focuses on developing high-level training programs, interdisciplinary, joint, and flexible programs to meet the needs of the domestic and international labor market; focusing on training economic human resources with extensive professional knowledge, solid professional skills, and the ability to adapt to market changes and international integration.
Focus on developing applied research, meeting the practical needs of businesses and society, contributing to solving the country's socio-economic problems; building relationships with businesses, creating conditions for students to do internships, gain practical experience and have good job opportunities after graduation...
