At AI Forward, an event in San Francisco hosted by Goldman Sachs and SV Angel, OpenAi President Greg Brockman discussed the directions and regulations on AI governance that policymakers should consider.

He is working on an AI model similar to Wikipedia, where the information listed is unified and compiled by a group of people with opposing opinions.
Another idea that Mr. Brockman has discussed and that OpenAI is exploring is that governments around the world should coordinate to ensure that AI is developed safely.
Since ChatGPT was launched on November 30, its general AI technology has captured the public’s attention, making it the fastest-growing app of all time. AI has also come under the spotlight amid growing concerns about the potential for deepfakes and the spread of misinformation.
Another suggestion is a global agreement to limit the annual growth of advanced AI or a joint global project that major governments could join.
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman proposed a variety of ideas to US lawmakers last week to set up barriers to artificial intelligence, including requiring licenses to develop the most sophisticated AI models and establishing related governance regimes. He will also travel to Europe to continue discussions with governments on the issue.
