Prof. Dr. Nguyen Mai, Chairman of VAFIE Association, Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Vice Chairman of VAFIE, former Editor-in-Chief of Investor Magazine, presented the decision to appoint Mr. Pham Duc Son as Editor-in-Chief of Investor Magazine.
On the morning of June 28 in Hanoi, the Association of Foreign Investment Enterprises (VAFIE) and Investor Magazine held a conference to announce the decision on personnel work.
With the consent of the Central Propaganda Department and the Ministry of Information and Communications, on June 28, 2024, the Chairman of the Association of Foreign Investment Enterprises signed a decision to appoint journalist Pham Duc Son - Permanent Deputy Editor-in-Chief, Party Secretary of the Investor Magazine to hold the position of Editor-in-Chief of the Investor Magazine; appoint journalist Vo Ta Quynh - Head of the Northeastern Representative Office, Deputy Head of the Reporters Department to hold the position of Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Investor Magazine. The term of office is 5 years from July 1, 2024.

VAFIE Association leaders presented the decision to appoint Mr. Nguyen Thai Son, Head of the Editorial Secretariat, as a member of the Editorial Board of Investor Magazine.
Also within the framework of the Conference, the Chairman of the Association of Foreign Investment Enterprises presented the decision to appoint Mr. Nguyen Thai Son, Head of the Editorial Secretariat, as a member of the Editorial Board of the Investor Magazine.
Speaking at the Conference, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Mai, Chairman of the Association of Foreign Investment Enterprises, on behalf of the Association's leaders, congratulated the appointed personnel and emphasized that this appointment demonstrates the Association's confidence in perfecting the Editorial Board.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Mai, Chairman of the Association of Foreign Investment Enterprises, gave a speech at the Conference.
In addition, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Mai also acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and development of the Investor Magazine since its establishment. The professor requested that the staff, reporters and editors of the Magazine in the coming time must always strive to fulfill their assigned tasks.
"I believe that the new Editorial Board will have enough capacity to lead the Journal to become stronger and make new steps forward," the Professor emphasized.
At the Conference, Mr. Nguyen Duc Loi - Permanent Vice President of Vietnam Journalists Association sent congratulations to the newly appointed personnel of Investor Magazine.
"I hope that the newly appointed personnel will continue to inherit and promote the achievements of their predecessors, build Investor Magazine into a multimedia editorial office, meet the increasing demands of readers and deserve the trust of the Association," said Mr. Nguyen Duc Loi.

New Editor-in-Chief Pham Duc Son expressed his gratitude for the attention and trust in the responsibility of the Executive Board of the Association of Foreign Investment Enterprises and Professor Nguyen Mai personally. He also expressed his gratitude to journalist Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - former Editor-in-Chief of the Investor Magazine - a leader, a teacher and a big brother in life and in the profession, who has always guided him and the staff of the Investor Magazine throughout the past time.
"I am deeply aware of the responsibility I have been entrusted with by the governing body, the previous Editor-in-Chief, and the Party Cell, Editorial Board, officers, reporters, and employees of the Investor Magazine. Writing articles is difficult, and doing journalism in the current context is even more difficult. Therefore, I really hope to continue to receive the attention, direction, and facilitation of Mr. Mai, Mr. Tuan, the Standing Committee of the Association, and most importantly, the solidarity, attachment, and joint efforts of the Party Cell, Editorial Board, organizations, unions, and all of the agency's employees. Personally, I promise to wholeheartedly and wholeheartedly fulfill the assigned tasks for the sustainable and unique development of the Magazine," shared the new Editor-in-Chief Pham Duc Son.
The new Editor-in-Chief affirmed that from the very first days of establishing Nhadautu.vn, the Magazine has clearly defined its principles and objectives. The Magazine also clearly defined people as its core value, from which it builds, gathers and trains its team.
"That is the guiding principle for every action that journalists at Nha Do Tu magazine always inherit and promote, determined to build a truly professional, in-depth, creative, knowledgeable and helpful press agency with investors," Mr. Son affirmed.
Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan emphasized that this appointment is worthy, recognizing the efforts of the comrades. He expressed his thanks to the Association of Foreign Investment Enterprises, the Central Propaganda Department, the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Vietnam Journalists Association, and the Ministry of Planning and Investment for always supporting, directing, and guiding the Investor Magazine to continuously develop.
"I am delighted and happy about today's transition, and at the same time have great confidence in the appointed personnel, and believe that they will fulfill their roles, thereby further developing the Journal," Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan shared.
With the newly announced appointment decisions, from July 1, 2024, the Editorial Board of Investor Magazine will have 4 members, including Editor-in-Chief Pham Duc Son, 2 Deputy Editor-in-Chief including Mr. Nguyen Phong Cam - Permanent Deputy Editor-in-Chief, Mr. Vo Ta Quynh - Deputy Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board member Nguyen Thai Son.
Journalist Pham Duc Son was born in 1978, has a degree in Advanced Political Theory, Bachelor of Journalism. Journalist Pham Duc Son worked for 16 years at Vietnam Law Newspaper (Ministry of Justice); from June 2016 to present, he is the Permanent Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Investor Magazine, Party Cell Secretary, and Secretary of the Journalists Association.
Journalist Vo Ta Quynh was born in 1992, has a degree in Advanced Political Theory, Bachelor of Economics, Bachelor of Law. Before being appointed, journalist Vo Ta Quynh worked at Nguoi Dua Tin Newspaper (Vietnam Lawyers Association); from 2017 to present, at Nha Do Tu Magazine (Association of Foreign Investment Enterprises), he has held the following positions: Secretary of the Youth Union, Deputy Head of the Reporters' Department, Head of the North Central Representative Office, Head of the Northeast Representative Office.
Mr. Nguyen Thai Son was born in 1979, has a Bachelor of Journalism and a Bachelor of Law. Mr. Son has worked at many press agencies such as People's Representative Newspaper; Dan Tri Newspaper; Ho Chi Minh City Law Newspaper; Thanh Nien Newspaper. From September 2022 to present, he is the Head of the Editorial Secretariat of Investor Magazine.
