On the morning of August 28, speaking with VietNamNet reporter, Mr. Hoang Van Viet - Principal of Quang Vinh Primary School said that he was very surprised to see the image of his school visit being actively spread on social networks.

Mr. Viet shared that the above photo was taken on August 24. At that time, floodwaters began to inundate the school. Seeing the floodwaters rising, Mr. Viet was anxious and worried that the facilities would be swept away by the flood, so he decided to swim into the school to check and examine the condition of the items and equipment.

"Currently, the water has begun to recede slowly, but the school is still flooded about 3 meters deep. For many days now, the entire school board, staff, and teachers have been on duty near the school," said Mr. Viet.

Mr. Hoang Van Dong, Head of the Department of Education and Training of Trung Khanh district, said: "To ensure facilities for the new school year, the Department of Education and Training of the district has coordinated with relevant units to assign people to be on duty at schools.

At the same time, when the water recedes, we will mobilize more staff and teachers from neighboring schools to join hands in cleaning the school, helping students feel secure in their studies."
