Ninh Binh organizes Festival on international scale for the first time

The 3rd Ninh Binh Festival in 2024 with the theme "Heritage Flow" on an international scale will take place in November 2024.

Recently, the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee issued Plan No. 144/KH-UBND to organize the third time in 2024 with the theme "Heritage Flow". This is a cultural and tourism event of great significance, contributing to building and positioning the brand of the millennium heritage city of Ninh Binh province, while promoting the image, culture, and people of Ninh Binh province and regions across the country to domestic and international tourists.

Activities within the framework of the Festival include events such as: The Festival opening program held at Dinh Tien Hoang De Square, Ninh Binh city; Street Festival program, expected on some main roads in Ninh Binh city; Boat parade program held in Ninh Binh city, Hoa Lu district; International music group exchange program, held at Dinh Tien Hoang De Square, Ninh Binh city; "Duc Thuy Son" Assembly Hall, expected to be held at Nui Thuy park, Ninh Binh city; "Ninh Binh - Sao Mai convergence" art program held in Ninh Binh city...

Events and activities in response include: Hosting the 1st Southeast Asian Tennis Championship (pre-SeaGames 2025); hosting the 26th Red River Delta Art Photography Festival in 2024; International Badminton Tournament "Vietnam International Challenge 2024"; Trang An Marathon International Cross-Country Race 2024 held in November 2024; Trade promotion exhibition, introducing products, goods, trade, services and Food Festival.

According to the Plan, the Festival will be held from 7-10 days in mid-November 2024, in Ninh Binh city and some districts in the province, on an international scale.

The series of events contributes to arousing love for the homeland, pride in the rich history and heritage of the ancient capital of Hoa Lu Ninh Binh; stimulating tourism; connecting the experience journey of people and tourists through new, attractive and unique art and entertainment performances on an international scale imbued with the cultural identity of the nation, locality, region and area.
