8 Kien Giang enterprises participate in the 2025 Vietnam typical export goods fair

Participating in the fair, 8 Kien Giang enterprises participated in displaying and introducing many typical rural industrial products, OCOP products and local specialties such as dried shrimp, dried fish, traditional Phu Quoc fish sauce, bird's nest, products from sedge grass... The displayed products attracted hundreds of visitors, including many international investors and partners.

Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Kien Giang province, Truong Van Minh, said that Kien Giang's participation in this fair is an opportunity for businesses to promote and connect Kien Giang products to foreign partners, improve competitiveness, expand export markets and contribute to affirming the brand of local products in the international market.

Indian customers came to visit and buy products made from sedge from Thao Dien Phu My Company (Giang Thanh) at the fair.

Over the three days of the fair, Kien Giang province’s booths welcomed hundreds of domestic and foreign visitors. Eight businesses had direct meetings with partners from China, Japan, Laos, India, etc. to exchange information and gain in-depth understanding of products, production processes and supply capacity. This is an opportunity for businesses to connect and sign memorandums of understanding with partners in the near future.

The fair also has outstanding activities such as a forum to promote linkage towards green export with the theme "Strong linkage - Green export"; international conference on green export - green economy, practical experience in exporting to major markets; a seminar on green development: Opportunities and challenges of clean energy in Vietnam; a talk show on "Building a safe and sustainable brand and supply chain for bird's nest"; direct and online trade connections, seminars, connections via e-commerce platforms (Alibaba, Amazon), product demonstrations and craft village culture...

The fair brings together hundreds of businesses and about 1,000 booths, and is a place to gather Vietnam's strategic export products. This year's fair focuses on the "Green - Clean - Digital" orientation, prioritizing environmentally friendly products, recycled packaging, energy-saving technology and digital transformation applications in international trade.
