Activities of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions in the new period

One month after the merger, the office of Lao Cai Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions has been arranged scientifically and reasonably, creating the best conditions for officers and employees to perform well their assigned professional tasks.

Mr. Vu Trong Khuynh, Head of the Religious Affairs Department, Lao Cai Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions said: "Ensure that cadres are mentally prepared to accept tasks in new positions and new units; ensure that work is smooth according to the plan from the beginning of the year and is implemented smoothly."

The departments and offices of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religion are scientifically arranged, creating the best working conditions for staff.

After the merger, the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions consists of 4 divisions and 1 department, with 42 civil servants and employees. Faced with higher requirements on roles and responsibilities in performing tasks, each cadre and civil servant of the department always upholds the spirit of solidarity, overcomes difficulties, and supports each other to perform well the assigned tasks.

Currently, the department has rearranged its facilities, arranged suitable jobs, and created conditions for officials and civil servants to promote their abilities and strengths at work. The goal is to continue to improve the effectiveness of the work of building and implementing ethnic and religious policies of the Party and State. Thereby, continuing to consolidate and strengthen the great national unity bloc.

Mr. Nguyen Chi Duong, Head of the Policy and Ethnic Affairs Department, Lao Cai Department of Ethnic Affairs and Religion said: "We have reviewed the tasks, at the same time developed plans, assigned tasks to each comrade to carry out immediately, without interruption. From there, we held meetings to assign work and encourage each civil servant to perform the new task better."

The staff of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions strived to keep up with the new work and quickly performed well the assigned tasks.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Nhan, Director of Lao Cai Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions added: "We have reorganized the steering committees, councils as well as the grassroots guidance documents; advised the province to reconfigure administrative procedures related to the new department's units to ensure that citizens, as well as religious and belief organizations in the area, operate continuously and without interruption."

Every change always comes with difficulties and challenges, but the agencies and units under the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions are making efforts to overcome difficulties, quickly stabilize their mindset to better perform their assigned functions and tasks. Thereby, contributing to the province in building a streamlined apparatus, operating effectively, efficiently, and effectively, promoting local socio-economic development.
