More than 47,500 people participated in learning about Da Lat

On April 2, Ms. Le Thi Hong Phuc, Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Da Lat City Party Committee (Lam Dong), said that on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Da Lat's liberation (April 3, 1975 - April 3, 2025), Da Lat City organized an online contest to learn about the formation and development of Da Lat City.

The contest will be held for 5 weeks, from February 24 to March 28, 2025, online on the Da Lat Ngay Moi Facebook fanpage (https://www.facebook.com/thanhphodalatngaymoi/), the Da Lat City Party Committee's electronic information page (https://dalat.lamdong.gov.vn) and the Da Lat City People's Committee's electronic information page (https://dalat.lamdong.gov.vn/).

The contest attracted 47,560 participants from provinces and cities across the country, notably Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Dak Nong, Tien Giang, Quang Binh, Dong Thap, Soc Trang, Hai Phong... That shows the interest and active response of many classes of people and those who love Da Lat.

On April 1, the Da Lat City Party Committee and People's Committee held an award ceremony. The organizing committee decided to award 190 prizes, including 75 collective prizes and 115 individual prizes.

According to Ms. Phuc, the contest has contributed to educating the nation's moral tradition of "remembering the source of water when drinking water"; honoring and showing gratitude to heroic martyrs, comrades and compatriots who heroically sacrificed their blood and bones, dedicating their whole lives to the cause of national liberation, national reunification, building and defending the Fatherland of Vietnam.

The contest is also an opportunity to arouse pride in a heroic city, the city of Vietnam Flower Festival; evaluate the achievements of socio-economic development, create motivation for the people of Da Lat City to continue promoting cultural traditions, national identity, and the style of Da Lat people "gentle - elegant - hospitable". On the other hand, through this, mobilize all resources and intelligence to build and develop Da Lat City to become increasingly rich, civilized and friendly.
