Provincial delegation offered incense to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Ham Rong victory
On the morning of April 2, 2025, on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of Ham Rong victory (April 3, 4, 1965 - April 3, 4, 2025) and towards the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); the delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Hoa province led by comrade Nguyen Doan Anh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, came to offer flowers and incense at the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Cultural Area, the Temple of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and Heroic Martyrs, the Victory Youth Volunteer Monument, the Memorial Area for teachers and students who sacrificed their lives on the Ma River dike construction site, and the Ham Rong Martyrs Cemetery.Page Content

60 years ago, with bravery, intelligence, courage and the spirit of "Determination to Win", on April 3 and 4, 1965, the army and people of Thanh Hoa town and the participating forces heroically defended Ham Rong bridge, foiling the plot to cut off the important traffic artery, preventing support from the Northern rear to the great battlefield in the South.

The victory of Ham Rong is not only the pride of Thanh Hoa people but also the victory of the People's War, of the indomitable will, the steadfast spirit and intelligence of Vietnam; becoming a shining symbol of revolutionary heroism, adding confidence and will for the army and people of the whole country to continue to advance to defeat the US imperialists and their lackeys, regain independence, freedom and unify the country.
