People agree
Living in Bu Dinh hamlet, Thanh An commune for more than 20 years, Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Tram was happy when the road was upgraded and expanded. According to Ms. Tram, this road was previously very small and in dusty and muddy conditions, making it very difficult for traffic, especially for students. "When we heard that the State was building the road, the people in the hamlet were very happy! My family was also affected when the State expanded the road, but with a wider road, it will be easier for us to do business and travel," Ms. Tram happily shared.
Representatives of the investor, the supervising consultant and the construction contractor inspected the actual situation at the site and promptly adjusted some arising items to ensure the project's progress.
Ms. Thi Be, Head of Bu Dinh Hamlet, said that the hamlet has 250 households/1,130 people, of which more than 75% of the population are ethnic minorities. The people are very excited and highly support the State's road construction policy. After only a few days of propaganda and mobilization, the people proactively moved fences, cut down trees, and cleared the land to hand over to the State for road construction. Everyone happily complied without asking for compensation from the State. "People hope the road will be constructed quickly so that a new road can be built soon. Children can go to school safely without worrying about rain or sun like before" - Ms. Thi Be said.
“This road has been requested by the Party Cell, the Hamlet Executive Board and the people for many years, because the road has seriously degraded, greatly affecting the travel needs and economic development of the people. Especially the Bu Dinh bridge area during the rainy season is flooded and impassable; many people have been swept away by floodwaters and died while crossing the bridge at night. Now that the State has invested in building the road and rebuilding the bridge, the people are very excited” - Mr. Le Tien Chuc, Secretary of the Bu Dinh Hamlet Party Cell shared.
Speed up construction progress
The project to upgrade and build the Bu Dinh - Thanh Son road and bridge is over 8.5km long, connecting the center of Thanh An commune with Highway 757, creating momentum for the locality to develop its economy and connect with neighboring areas. Thanks to the high consensus and unity of the people in the site clearance work, the project is being implemented on schedule. Mr. Nguyen Hong Quan, Commander of the project to upgrade and build the Bu Dinh - Thanh Son road and bridge, Thanh An commune, said: Taking advantage of the dry season weather, the unit focused its forces and divided them into 4 simultaneous construction teams to speed up the progress. Currently, the project has completed more than 30% of the workload, and the quality meets the requirements.

Chairman of Thanh An Commune People's Committee Cao Minh Cong said: In 2024, Thanh An commune will reach the new rural area, however, the traffic infrastructure has not been fully invested. The project to upgrade and build Bu Dinh - Thanh Son road and bridge, once completed, will not only help complete the new rural criteria but also open up new development space for Thanh An commune in particular and Hon Quan district when traffic is connected according to the province's general planning.
The project to upgrade and build the Bu Dinh - Thanh Son road and bridge in Thanh An commune is expected to be put into use from November 2026. The local government is actively coordinating with the investor to strengthen inspection, supervision and remove difficulties when they arise so that the project can be implemented on schedule and ensure quality.
