In 2023, there are many rumors about the products that Apple is working on and may launch before the end of the year or some will be delayed until next year. Below are some typical names that Apple is expected to release this year and that users are most interested in recently.
The iPhone 15 series is still the most anticipated product from Apple this year
iPhone 15 series
Apple is almost certain to launch completely new iPhones this year. There have been many rumors about what the iPhone 15 will bring, such as Dynamic Island coming to all members. The company may also change the name of the iPhone 15 Pro Max to iPhone 15 Ultra to stand out from the rest of the models. This product will be equipped with the exclusive A17 Bionic chip along with the iPhone 15 Pro and for the first time, a USB-C port.
The first Mac Pro with Apple Silicon chip
The Mac Pro used to be Apple's most expensive and powerful computer. But thanks to Apple Silicon chips, the MacBook Pro and Mac Studio are closing the power gap with the Mac Pro, which relies on older Intel CPUs. That could change soon, however, as Apple is reportedly working on a brand new Mac Pro. It will be the first Mac Pro to feature Apple Silicon (likely the M2), and rumors suggest the powerful machine will also have at least 192GB of RAM, a 24-core CPU, and a 76-core GPU.
It’s no surprise that the new Mac Pro will still cost a lot, or even more than it already does. There’s no word yet on when it will be available.
Apple Watch Series 9
Just like the iPhone, Apple has been releasing new Apple Watches every year since the product launched in 2015.
Will there not be many notable changes of Watch Series 9 compared to its predecessor?
As of now, there are no leaks about any major new features on the Watch Series 9, so it's likely that users will only see a few design changes and upgrades to the internal components of the product, which is expected to launch this fall.
New MacBook Air
Apple is expected to introduce a completely new member of the MacBook Air family, which will notably feature a 15-inch display for the first time, up from the previous 13 inches. The key internal specifications of the device are still unknown. If the product launches in Q2 2023 as some rumors suggest, it will likely come with an M2 chip. But if the company decides to wait to accommodate a major display upgrade, the product will appear early next year with a more modern M3 chip.
New iPad mini
Even if the current iPad mini is quite powerful and doesn’t really need a refresh, Apple could be working on a new generation of the compact tablet. However, the improvements to the next iPad mini are likely to be modest, leading to a possible launch in Q4 2023 or early 2024.

Mixed reality glasses
There have been rumors that Apple is working on a completely new product called mixed reality glasses that combine virtual reality and augmented reality. It will be a high-end device that focuses on multimedia enjoyment such as YouTube videos, streaming services or virtual reality gaming.
Since this is a high-end device, it won’t come cheap, with some reports saying it could cost as much as $3,000. The mixed reality headset is said to feature multiple 4K microOLED displays and come with Apple’s own operating system called xrOS as well as its own App Store.
The most exciting part of the device is that the launch date seems very close, right at WWDC 2023 that Apple is scheduled to hold on June 5.
