The effects of loquat tree in Oriental medicine
Loquat fruit: Sour, astringent, neutral, helps to astringent, relieve cough and asthma, stop bleeding. Used to treat poor digestion, dysentery, cough and asthma, hemorrhage, intestinal prolapse (gas flukes), hemorrhoids.
Loquat leaves: Sour taste, neutral properties, non-toxic, often used to treat lung deficiency (decreased lung function), shortness of breath, asthma, coughing up blood, ulcers.

Some folk remedies from the jujube tree
Common cough treatment: Take 30g of fresh loquat leaves, boil in water, add sugar and drink.
Tuberculosis, coughing up blood: Steep 24g fresh loquat leaves with 15g sugar in boiling water, drink twice a day after meals.
Bleeding wounds, boils on the back: Crush fresh loquat leaves, apply directly to the wound.
Bee stings, snake bites: Take the juice from crushed fresh loquat leaves, mix with alcohol to drink, apply the pulp to the wound.
Sore throat, difficulty swallowing, coughing up blood: Boil 30g of loquat root to get water to drink.
Cold asthma: Boil 30g of loquat root with 15g of brown sugar, drink after meals.
Gastrointestinal bleeding, excessive menstruation: Boil 30 - 60g of loquat roots to get water to drink.
Rheumatism, bone and joint pain: Stew 120g of loquat root with 500g of pig's feet and 60g of wine, eat the meat and drink the medicine.
Jaundice: If you have jaundice, you can use 15 - 18g of loquat root and then boil it to drink.
Postpartum women with abdominal pain and poor digestion: Use 60g of loquat root, boil with 30g of brown sugar, drink.
Treatment of dysentery, diarrhea, chronic colitis: 20 - 30g fresh loquat leaves or 6 - 12g dried leaves, stir-fry until golden brown, boil in water and drink for 1 - 2 weeks. You can use dried loquat leaf powder, 2 - 3 times a day, 8 - 12g each time, drink with rice water, when using, avoid raw, cold foods such as fish, crabs, snails, frogs.
Cough with phlegm, asthma: Use 16g of roasted loquat leaves, 12g of roasted sour apple leaves, 6g of roasted radish seeds and mustard greens, pound. Wrap the mustard seeds in a clean cloth, boil with loquat leaves and apple leaves, drink for 2-3 weeks.
