During a working trip to Vung Liem district, on March 22, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Tien Dung and members of the delegation offered flowers and incense at the Memorial Site of Prime Minister Vo Van Kiet (Vung Liem Town) and visited and presented gifts to policy families in the district.

In a solemn atmosphere, delegates respectfully offered flowers, incense and observed a minute of silence to commemorate the great contributions of Prime Minister Vo Van Kiet - a staunch communist soldier; an excellent student of President Ho Chi Minh; a prestigious leader of the Party, State and People; an outstanding son of Vinh Long homeland.
Also at the memorial area, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Tien Dung and members of the delegation burned incense at the historical site of Vung Linh Lake and listened to a report on the idea of building an Agricultural Museum in the Mekong Delta.

Visiting and presenting gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Le Thi Tu (residing in Phuoc Loc hamlet, Trung Thanh commune), Provincial Party Secretary Tran Tien Dung expressed his deep gratitude for the family's great sacrifices and contributions in the struggle for national liberation and reunification.
