The exhibition displayed 200 documents, images, and maps from the Vietnam National Archives Center, the Vietnam Military History Museum, the Navy Museum, and many documents collected from archives and national libraries of the United States and France. In addition, the exhibition for the first time published many documents about Hoang Sa in the Vietnam National Archives from the 19th century to the present. Among them are Chau Ban documents, Nguyen Dynasty woodblocks, and Hoang Sa images from the 1930s.

In particular, the exhibition also displays 50 press photos, taken by members of the Hanoi Photojournalist Club from 2009 to the present. The 50 photos vividly depict the Truong Sa archipelago from combat training, activities, daily life... of soldiers and people to the hardships in the journey to preserve the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.

Colonel Nguyen Huu Minh, Deputy Political Commissar of Naval Region 4, said: "This is an exhibition of special importance. The officers and soldiers of Naval Region 4 are looking forward to and welcoming this event."

The exhibition helps officers and soldiers in the whole region understand more fully and deeply the significance, great stature, and great historical value of the Great Victory of Spring 1975 in general and the liberation of Truong Sa in particular, as well as the 70-year journey of protecting the sea of the Vietnam People's Navy.

Through the exhibition, cadres, soldiers, people, students, etc., together have confidence and pride in the glorious tradition of the nation, army, and Navy to successfully complete the task of protecting the sovereignty of the sea, islands, and sacred continental shelf of the Fatherland.
The exhibition takes place on March 17 and 18.
