Train the most soldiers
These days, on the training grounds of Battalion 2, Infantry Regiment 125 (Chi Linh City), the atmosphere of the training is lively and enthusiastic. The young soldiers are calm and confident in every movement and training topic. Soldier Nguyen Duc Minh, Platoon 2, Company 1, Battalion 2 shared: "The first time I encountered the content of shooting AK submachine guns, I and many new soldiers were not yet proficient. Thanks to active practice and regular reminders and adjustments from the training staff, everyone is very confident now."
In 2024, the Provincial Military Command was assigned to train 225 new soldiers from Hai Duong, Hung Yen and Hoa Binh provinces, the largest number ever. With a focus on training quality, the Provincial Military Command established 2 new soldier training companies, selecting core, qualified officers with rich experience in teaching, managing and training at the 125th Infantry Regiment.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Tuan Dung, Political Commissar of the 125th Infantry Regiment, in order for new soldiers to quickly integrate into the military environment, the unit has thoroughly instructed its staff to implement the motto "4 together": "eat together, live together, work together, share together". In training, the unit pays great attention to basic training, the staff directly training closely follows the training ground, closely follows the new soldiers to promptly make adjustments, ensuring that each training session has a firm grasp of the content.
The 125th Infantry Regiment also focuses on repairing and renewing models, teaching aids, lesson plans, carefully prepared lectures, renovating training grounds, building new kitchens, etc. In particular, the system of training grounds, practice grounds, especially the shooting grounds are in accordance with the design model to serve training and tactical shooting. All are aimed at ensuring all conditions for training to achieve high results and safety. Recently, the working delegation of the General Staff led by Lieutenant General Thai Van Minh, Director of the Military Training Department, inspected and highly appreciated the training preparation work for new soldiers at the 125th Infantry Regiment.
Associated with peak competition
The highlight of this year's training season is that the Military Command at the district and provincial levels will organize a shooting competition for the army and militia this April. The competition aims to evaluate the results of training and the shooting level of the army of the units, while also creating an atmosphere of competition to train well.
For nearly a week now, the militia and self-defense soldiers in Gia Loc district have been actively participating in training with a competitive spirit to achieve high results. In addition to implementing basic training programs, the units also organize specialized activities to deepen the training content. The District Military Command also regularly sends cadres to guide, inspect, and promptly correct places that have not done well. Thanks to that, the number of soldiers participating in the first-year militia and self-defense training has always reached over 99.8%. The test results after each training content show that more than 75% of the departments and items achieved good and excellent results.
From the beginning of 2024, the Provincial Military Command has strictly implemented the spirit of the superiors' direction on training work and directed agencies and units to prepare carefully in all aspects. Before entering the training season, the Provincial Military Command also organized a competition to prepare for training work in 2024. Units have paid attention to investing in facilities, renewing many models, especially the movement of innovation and improvement of teaching aid models has been promoted in the units. Recently, the Provincial Military Command selected a teaching aid model to participate in the competition at Military Region 3 level and won second prize.
According to Colonel Nguyen Trong Hung, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Provincial Military Command, during this year's training season, agencies and units under the Provincial Military Command are striving to achieve high results in conjunction with the peak competition with the theme "Following in the footsteps of Dien Bien soldiers - Going forward to win 3 firsts" taking place from March 1 to May 7. The competition focuses on activities to build agencies and units that are strong in politics, ideology and organization; improve the quality of training and promote education and fostering knowledge of national defense and security...
With the motto "basic, practical, solid", focusing on synchronous, in-depth training according to tasks, right subjects, close to reality, units and localities are striving to complete this year's training work well.
