Despite the cold drizzle, the officers and staff of the Chi Linh City Military Command are still focused on preparing for the upcoming training. The barracks are renovated, the training steles and boards are complete, neatly arranged by type, the teaching aids are cleaned and repainted.
Lieutenant Colonel Tran Ngoc Thuc, Commander of the Chi Linh City Military Command, said: "Although busy with recruitment work, the unit still assigned forces to take advantage of breaks and days off to focus on repairing and renewing teaching aids for training. Up to now, we have basically ensured the full quantity and correct size according to regulations."
The current common difficulty in organizing militia and self-defense training is the lack of training grounds, especially training grounds for tactics, infantry combat techniques and physical training grounds. To solve this problem, the Chi Linh City Military Command coordinated with local Party committees and authorities and directed the Military Commands of communes and wards to utilize stadiums.
Instead of training in each commune, the Chi Linh City Military Command will train in clusters of communes and wards. This will help reduce the number of training grounds, mobilize more resources to strengthen the training grounds, and facilitate training and training inspection.
In 2025, the Hai Duong Provincial Military Command trained 230 new recruits from Hoa Binh, Hai Duong, and Hung Yen provinces, the most ever.

In addition to well preparing the material conditions, lesson plans and lectures, the Provincial Military Command has organized inspection teams at the military commands of districts, towns and cities. Up to now, all conditions serving the training work have achieved high results and safety.
Many initiatives and improvements
Before entering the training season, the Provincial Military Command organized a competition to prepare for training in 2025. The highlight of this year's competition was the participation of 120 initiatives and improvements, all of which were highly appreciated for their good quality and creativity.
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dinh Nga, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Provincial Military Command, said that the number and quality of initiatives and improvements this year have increased sharply compared to last year. This is an important preparation step to create a vibrant atmosphere for this year's training season, and at the same time, it is the basis for the Provincial Military Command to evaluate the training preparation work in agencies and units, thereby promptly drawing experience and preparing well in all aspects to serve the training mission.
Identifying preparation as an important step, directly deciding the quality of training and combat readiness, agencies and units of the provincial armed forces promote the movement of writing initiatives, improving teaching tool models, and having high practicality applied in training.
On February 10, a delegation from the Military Region 3 Command inspected training preparations at the Hai Duong Provincial Military Command and was highly appreciated as a typical unit of the Military Region's armed forces.
According to the plan of the Hai Duong Provincial Military Command, on March 3, the entire province will simultaneously organize military training for 2025.
