Delegates attending at Long An province bridge
Based on the implementation of the Conclusion of the Standing Committee of the Central Steering Committee on preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity, Deputy Minister of Finance - Bui Van Khang thoroughly grasped the spirit of "running and lining up at the same time" in the task of reviewing public assets.
He suggested that ministries, sectors and localities review and effectively handle surplus public assets after the administrative restructuring. Priority should be given to transferring these assets to units and localities that are in need of using them or serving essential public purposes such as healthcare, education and community activities.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Huynh Van Son presided at the Long An province bridge
At the meeting, another important issue discussed was the review and development of a plan to handle unfinished investment projects. Opinions emphasized the need to rearrange these projects carefully and effectively, in compliance with current regulations, to avoid loss and waste of State resources.
The meeting demonstrated the strong determination of the Ministry of Finance and ministries, branches and localities in seriously implementing the Central Government's direction on preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity, contributing to the effective use of public assets and promoting the country's sustainable development./.
