Ha Giang ranks 7th out of 63 provinces and cities in implementing FTAs ​​in 2024

On the afternoon of April 8, the Ministry of Industry and Trade coordinated with the Government Office to announce the set of indicators to assess the implementation results of free trade agreements (FTAs) of localities nationwide in 2024.

This is the first time Vietnam has announced a comprehensive, quantitative and objective index on the level of implementation of FTA commitments of 63 provinces and cities. The content of the index focuses on four main aspects: Level of access to information of enterprises; compliance with legal regulations; effectiveness of programs and policies to support enterprises and the implementation of sustainable development commitments in the locality. According to the announcement, Ha Giang ranked 7th out of 63 provinces and cities nationwide. The announcement of the FTA Index is not only for comparison but also to create motivation to promote administrative reform, support enterprises to optimize opportunities from FTAs. In Ha Giang province, when implementing the innovation and global economic integration, the province has taken advantage of FTA opportunities for development and proactively provided information to enterprises to limit risks in export and attract investment./.
