Sharing at the workshop, the representative of the German Nursing Association said that in 2023, Germany will have about 1.8 million nurses. The number of nurses has increased continuously due to the increasing demand for care. In hospitals, about 60% are professional nurses, 30% are care assistants. In nursing homes, 47% are professional nurses, 48% are care assistants.
