On March 4, in Hue city, Nguyen Chi Thanh Political School held the opening ceremony of the 2nd leadership and management training course in 2025 for 60 students from 4 provinces of South Central Laos: Salavan, Sekong, Champasak, Savannakhet.
The 2025 leadership and management training course, course 2, will last 24 days and will equip 60 trainees, who are leaders and managers of 4 provinces in South Central Laos, with basic and necessary knowledge of leadership and management; strengthen political mettle and revolutionary ethics; and improve organizational skills to successfully carry out tasks assigned by the Lao Party, State and People.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee Pham Duc Tien expressed his belief that with the knowledge and practical experience gained during their studies, research and surveys in Vietnam, the 60 Lao students will be supplemented with knowledge, improve the efficiency and quality of their work, contribute to the administrative reform, and further strengthen the spirit of solidarity, friendship and special cooperation between the two Parties and the two peoples of Vietnam and Laos.
Also at the opening ceremony, Consulate General of the Lao PDR in Da Nang City Souphanh HADAOHEUANG believed that the class would achieve its goals, contributing to fostering the special friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Laos and Vietnam in general, and between Hue city and the provinces of South Central Laos in particular, to develop comprehensively.
It is known that during 24 days, 60 students were trained in the course program on: General knowledge of leadership and management; basic skills in leadership and management; practical research on historical relics, cultural traditions, Vietnamese people and Hue city; advanced typical models, creative ways in economic and social development, building the political system of Hue city.
