Quickly complete the dossier to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for approval of the investment project of the Road to the tomb of Doctor A. Yersin.

On March 20, Mr. Dinh Van Thieu - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of a number of related departments, branches and units conducted a field survey of the Project of Road to the tomb of Doctor A. Yersin (Suoi Cat commune, Cam Lam district).

After surveying the site and listening to the opinions of the accompanying members, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dinh Van Thieu emphasized the importance of investing in the road to the tomb of Dr. A. Yersin. This project is suitable for the actual needs of the people and visitors, and meets the wishes of those who admire Dr. A. Yersin; at the same time, it contributes to preserving and promoting the value of the tomb (1 of the 4 locations that make up the national monument commemorating the scientist A. Yersin). Mr. Dinh Van Thieu requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to focus on completing the dossier, submitting it to the Provincial People's Committee for approval of the project investment no later than the end of April 2025; assigning the Department of Finance to arrange funding to deploy the construction of a protective fence in the Suoi Dau Livestock Farm area to ensure safety and avoid affecting the research activities of the Institute of Vaccines and Medical Biologicals.

The road leading to the tomb of Dr. A. Yersin has a total length of 310m; it is an asphalt concrete road, with a 12m wide roadbed (7m wide road surface, 2.5m wide sidewalk on each side); the total permanently recovered land area is more than 5,500m². The road connecting from the North-South expressway roundabout to the tomb aims to create favorable conditions for people and tourists to visit, and at the same time show gratitude to the scientist who has made many contributions to Khanh Hoa and is loved by generations of people here.
