Lam Dong merged Le Loi High School into Don Duong High School

The Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee issued a decision to merge Le Loi High School into Don Duong High School, Don Duong District.

On March 4, the Office of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee announced that Mr. Tran Hong Thai, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, had just signed a decision to merge Le Loi High School into Don Duong High School (Don Duong District).

Le Loi High School was established in 1989, has more than 35 years of formation and development, has trained many generations of students in the locality. Don Duong High School was established in 1985, is an educational institution with training quality always in the top group of Lam Dong province. For many years, Don Duong High School has always had the highest admission scores to the public high school system in the whole province.

According to the above decision, Don Duong High School will receive all the staff of Le Loi High School; arrange and assign employees of Le Loi High School according to the decentralized authority. Regarding facilities, transfer the facilities, finance, assets, equipment, tools, instruments, documents, and records of Le Loi High School to Don Duong High School to continue managing and using them according to regulations.

All students of Le Loi High School will attend Don Duong High School.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Education and Training of Lam Dong to withdraw the seal of Le Loi High School and hand it over to the responsible management agency after completing the merger procedures according to regulations. To be completed in the first quarter of 2025.

In the 2024-2025 school year, Don Duong High School has 886 students with 53 staff, teachers, and employees (including 45 teachers); Le Loi High School has 40 staff, teachers, and employees.

The merger of Le Loi High School into Don Duong High School is suitable for the practical situation, meeting the requirements of educational and training development of Don Duong District in particular and Lam Dong Province in general.
