The first automobile factory in Quang Ninh is expected to be inaugurated in the first quarter of 2025.

Thanh Cong Viet Hung Automobile Factory is invested by Thanh Cong Group. After more than 2 years of construction, the factory has basically completed the construction and installation items and is entering the trial operation phase. It is expected that the factory will be inaugurated, assemble SUV and B-class Sedan segments and launch products to the market in the second quarter of 2025.

Thanh Cong Viet Hung Automobile Factory is built on an area of ​​36.5 hectares, in Viet Hung Ward, Ha Long City; designed as a place to produce and assemble Skoda brand cars under the investment cooperation program of the leading Czech automobile company with Thanh Cong Group.

The main items of the factory have been completed, including: Welding, painting, assembly, electromechanical workshops and auxiliary works such as LPG station, compressed air station, test track, etc. Currently, the factory is testing the items and organizing the assembly of SUV and B-class Sedan segments in early 2025.

The entire factory system is invested synchronously, modernly, operated according to an automated mechanism, meeting the development trend of the world automobile industry.

Experts are fine-tuning the equipment during the trial run.

Robotic arms are equipped to handle the assembly process with many meticulous and complex details, creating vehicle products according to design standards.

The chassis system of Skoda brand cars is being thoroughly inspected by experts before being put into mass assembly.

The factory is designed with a closed production and assembly line from leading partners such as Chropynska, Wipro Pari and Durr. This helps ensure operations fully meet international quality standards, environmental protection standards and capacity to produce new car models in the future.

Thus, in the second quarter of 2025, Quang Ninh will officially have its first automobile factory in operation. This is of great significance, not only creating products with high added value, contributing to the state budget but also realizing the Government's goal of increasing the localization rate and increasing autonomy in automobile production in Vietnam.
