Ban Phu Citadel Festival - The 11th Dien Bien District Ethnic Culture, Sports and Tourism Festival in 2025 will take place from March 22 to March 24, 2025 at Ban Phu Citadel National Historical Site - Noong Het Commune - Dien Bien District. With many cultural, sports and competition activities, experience traditional folk games imbued with the colors of ethnic groups in the district.
In the joyful and jubilant atmosphere of the Festival, the Cultural and Cinema Center organized a mobile book stall to display and introduce publications, publications, and cultural products, with over 400 books: about customs and practices, about intangible cultural heritage of Dien Bien province, about the historic victory of Dien Bien Phu, especially works by local authors to introduce the characteristics of the land, people, and traditional cultural values of the ethnic groups of Dien Bien province, thereby attracting a large number of people and tourists to visit and learn at the book stall.
The Ban Phu Citadel Festival and the 11th Dien Bien District Ethnic Culture, Sports and Tourism Festival in 2025 are practical activities to celebrate the 271st anniversary of the victory of Hoang Cong Chat's army in liberating Muong Thanh (1754 - 2025), the 71st anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2025); the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party, to celebrate the major holidays of the country and the province in 2025.
