The final night of Miss International Queen - Miss International Queen 2024 was held on August 24 in Thailand with the participation of 23 countries. In the end, beauty Catalina Marsano from Peru was crowned Miss, 1st and 2nd runner-up respectively belonged to Saruda Panyakham (Thailand) and Nguyen Tuong San (Vietnam).
The new beauty queen is 28 years old, 1.7m tall and is currently a professional model and dancer. She possesses sharp beauty, impressive performance skills and fluent and confident responses.
Vietnam's representative Nguyen Tuong San excellently achieved the second runner-up position. The final night included swimsuit, evening gown, and question-and-answer performances. The show opened with a vibrant performance by reigning Miss International Queen 2023 Solange Dekker and 23 contestants. In unique designs with stylized coats shaped like national flags, the contestants shone brightly on the grand stage.
Before entering the main competition, the Vietnamese representative was announced as the winner of the Best National Costume award.
After that, the contestants participated in the evening gown performance, each beauty appeared gorgeous in luxurious, elaborately decorated dresses.
Tuong San wore a design inspired by cherry blossoms with a dominant pink tone from designer Do Long. The outfit used light silk material, combined with a high slit to help accentuate her long legs.
At the end of the first round, the MC announced other secondary awards. Vietnam continued to win the 5th award - Miss Photo . Previously, Tuong San was the first contestant to enter the top 12 thanks to winning the Best Semi-Final Performer category.
The remaining 11 beauties announced: USA, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Laos, Venezuela, Brazil, Japan, Peru, Colombia, Philippines and Thailand.
Next, the 25 best girls entered the swimsuit competition. The contestants confidently strode and showed off their toned bodies in hot bikini designs.
At the end of the competition, 6 beauties were revealed: Thailand, USA, Philippines, Vietnam, Colombia and Peru.
The final top 6 entered the behavioral round, with questions about education, human rights and equality for transgender people. The contestants confidently presented their views fluently, answered coherently with specific evidence, and demonstrated profound critical thinking.
The Vietnamese representative received the question: What do you think about allowing transgender athletes to compete with female athletes? Is that fair?
Faced with a difficult question, Tuong San replied: "I believe that transgender people cannot decide their gender, but they always live as their true selves and we should respect their decision."
At the end of the competition, the top 3 finalists were Thailand, Peru and Vietnam. The 3 beauties entered the final question and answer session to find the owner of the crown.
The top 3 were commented to have good and fluent answers. Meanwhile, the Vietnamese representative answered the question with a lack of confidence and lost composure.
