Woman in Hanoi found 50 million and asked the police to return it to the owner

On October 13, Xuan La Ward Police (Tay Ho District, Hanoi) said they had returned 50 million VND to the person who lost it.

Previously, at around 8:30 a.m. on October 12, Xuan La Ward Police received a leather wallet picked up by Ms. Tran Thi Hanh (born 1977, in Bo De, Long Bien, Hanoi) on Lac Long Quan Street and brought it to Xuan La Ward Police to report the incident.

Inside the wallet was more than 50 million VND in cash and some personal papers bearing the name Nguyen Quang Thanh (born in 1977, living in O Cho Dua ward, Dong Da, Hanoi).

Xuan La Ward Police contacted the person who lost the wallet. Upon receiving his property, Mr. Thanh was very moved and wrote a letter of thanks to Ms. Hanh as well as the dedicated and responsible police force who helped him get his property back.
