Nghe An trains to disseminate new documents on tourism

Speaking at the opening of the conference, Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong - Director of the Department of Tourism stated: In 2024, Nghe An province aims to welcome a total of 5,500,000 tourists with accommodation (equal to 104% compared to 2023), including 120,000 international visitors (equal to 155% compared to 2023), tourism service revenue reaches 9,000 billion VND (equal to 115% compared to 2023).

To achieve that goal, the Department of Tourism organized a training conference to disseminate and discuss difficulties and problems in the process of implementing state management in localities with potential for tourism development.

During 1 session, the trainees attending the training course were informed of the following contents: Directive No. 08/CT-TTg dated February 23, 2024 on comprehensive, rapid and sustainable tourism development in the coming time; Draft Plan of the Provincial People's Committee to implement Directive No. 08/CT-TTg dated February 23, 2024 on comprehensive, rapid and sustainable tourism development in the coming time; work to ensure security and order in the tourism sector.
