In 2024, the Tra Vinh Provincial Consumer Protection Association will closely coordinate with relevant agencies to strengthen inspections of production and business establishments to promptly protect the legitimate rights of consumers. Promote the implementation of the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", organize the sales program "Honoring Vietnamese products", participate in the trade fair - 100-year Tra Vinh Wax Coconut Festival and Vu Lan Thang Hoi Week in Cau Ke district. At the same time, organize propaganda, introduce and promote products to promote the mobile Vietnamese goods program in districts, towns and cities, participate in 09 supply and demand connection meetings to find markets for goods consumption...

Coordinate with competent authorities to effectively implement domestic market development projects associated with the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", and at the same time, coordinate with the Department of Industry and Trade to stabilize the market, connect supply and demand...

Speaking at the launching ceremony of activities in response to “Vietnam Consumer Rights Day”, Mr. Pham Phuoc Trai, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, Chairman of the Association for Consumer Rights Protection of Tra Vinh province, called on: Consumers should equip themselves with the necessary knowledge to protect their own rights, and businesses should conduct business honestly, transparently, responsibly, put consumer rights first, and consider it the foundation for sustainable business development.

Authorities strengthen supervision and strictly handle acts of violating consumer rights, strengthen propaganda and support, and provide advice to consumers. State agencies, socio-political organizations, associations, unions, media agencies, and the business community actively participate in activities to protect consumer rights in the locality according to the law.
