With a scale of 10 lanes, My Phuoc - Tan Van road, one of the largest roads in Binh Duong province, is considered the "Silk Road" of the Southeast region.
My Phuoc - Tan Van road partly overlaps with the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project, and also connects with traffic axes such as Ho Chi Minh road, National Highway 1A, 1K... The starting point is Bau Bang district (Binh Duong province) and the end point is Tan Van intersection (Hanoi highway, Ho Chi Minh City) with a length of more than 50km, divided into two phases: My Phuoc - Tan Van section is more than 42km long and My Phuoc - Bau Bang section is nearly 11km long. This road is also known as the "Silk Road" of the Southeast. At night, this road is brightly lit with two rows of lights on the side of the road. Currently, when mentioning the key traffic routes of Binh Duong province, it is impossible not to mention the name My Phuoc - Tan Van. Since being officially put into use, this road has brought positive effects to the socio-economic development of the province. My Phuoc - Tan Van Road started construction in 2009 with a total investment of about 4,300 billion VND. Of which, the section from Tan Van intersection to Dinh Hoa roundabout (Thu Dau Mot City) was opened to traffic in 2015 with a scale of 6 lanes. More than 25km of the section from Dinh Hoa roundabout to Bau Bang district administrative center is designed with 10 lanes. Of which, there are 6 car lanes and 2 mixed lanes on each side. This 10-lane road opened to traffic in June 2021. It is also considered the widest road in Binh Duong province. "This is the route I choose to return home after work at the company. Although there are many trucks passing through here, thanks to the wide road and clear lanes, most vehicles move very neatly and do not overtake recklessly," said Tran Kiem (46 years old). The road surface is wide and rarely congested, so when passing through this section, it will help vehicles shorten the time of transporting goods from industrial parks in Binh Duong province to Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai provinces...
The entire My Phuoc - Tan Van route has 2 large roundabouts including: Dinh Hoa roundabout and My Phuoc 3 industrial park roundabout. My Phuoc - Tan Van road passes through many industrial parks in Binh Duong province.
Among them, the two industrial parks My Phuoc 2 and My Phuoc 3 must be mentioned. These are two industrial parks with rapid development speed in Binh Duong province.
In sections passing through industrial zones, some vehicles are limited to a speed of 50km/h. My Phuoc - Tan Van Road is an important route connecting the center of Binh Duong New City (Binh Duong province) with Bien Hoa City (Dong Nai province), Ba Ria - Vung Tau province and Ho Chi Minh City, transporting goods from industrial parks in Binh Duong to ports in Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai to reduce the load on National Highway 13 and Provincial Road 743.
