Severe heat returns to the North in the middle of next week

It is forecasted that on April 13-14, the South will have hot and extremely hot weather with the highest temperature commonly ranging from 35 - 38 degrees Celsius, in the East some places above 38 degrees Celsius; the lowest relative humidity commonly ranges from 40 - 45%.

The Northwestern region is hot, with some places experiencing severe heat, with the highest temperature commonly ranging from 35 - 37 degrees Celsius, some places above 37 degrees Celsius; the lowest relative humidity commonly ranging from 50 - 55%.

The Central Highlands and mountainous areas of the Central and South Central regions have localized heat with the highest temperature above 35 degrees Celsius.

The meteorological agency said that from April 16, the heat wave will spread to the entire Northwest. On April 18, this area will have hot and extremely hot weather, with some areas being especially hot. From April 18, the Northeast will have localized heat waves.

On April 15, the Central region will have heat waves in the western mountainous areas, and from April 16, there will be widespread heat waves. On April 18, there will be the possibility of heat waves and severe heat waves, with some areas being especially severe.

Due to the effects of heat and intense heat combined with low humidity in the air, there is a risk of explosions and fires in residential areas due to increased demand for electricity and the risk of forest fires.

In addition, heat can also cause dehydration, exhaustion, and heat stroke in the human body when exposed to high temperatures for a long time.

From now until early May, cold air in the North will operate with weak intensity and gradually decrease in frequency. Low pressure in the west will gradually become stronger, so the heat will tend to increase more in the North, North Central and Central regions.

The rainy season in the Central Highlands and the South has not shown any signs of starting and this region continues to experience many days of widespread heat, with some areas experiencing severe heat. Dangerous weather phenomena such as thunderstorms, tornadoes, lightning, and hail continue to appear nationwide.
