Improving knowledge of building new rural areas for Huong Son people

On the morning of April 3, the Ha Tinh New Rural Office coordinated with the Department of Agriculture and Environment and the Provincial Women's Union to organize a training course on building a model new rural residential area in 2025 in Son Trung commune, Huong Son district.

Attending the training course in Son Trung commune were more than 150 representatives of heads of mass organizations, socio-political organizations, land - agricultural - environmental officials and specialized officials of the commune's new rural areas; secretaries, village heads, village development boards; heads of socio-political organizations of villages and households.

During the 1-day period, delegates listened to the staff of the Provincial New Rural Area Coordination Office, the Provincial Women's Union, and the Department of Agriculture and Environment discuss and guide the implementation of contents such as: "Model new rural family - 5 haves"; instructions on collection, classification and treatment of waste, domestic wastewater and the set of criteria for model new rural residential areas implemented in Ha Tinh province, period 2022 - 2025.

At the training session, delegates also discussed, exchanged and answered questions related to environmental protection in building new rural areas; ways to classify and treat waste at source; shared experiences, introduced models, sample gardens with income, and effective practices in building model new rural residential areas.

Through the training conference, we aim to raise awareness and knowledge for the staff and people of Son Trung commune to help speed up the construction of a model new-style rural residential area in the commune.

It is known that in this period, the Provincial Office of New Rural Development Coordination in coordination with the Department of Agriculture and Environment and the Provincial Women's Union will continue to conduct training for 3 communes in Huong Son district (Son Trung, Son Tay, Son Kim 1) with over 450 participants.
