More than 500 officials and civil servants participated in the blood donation festival in Thach Ha

On the morning of April 12, the Steering Committee for Blood Donation of Thach Ha district organized the first voluntary blood donation festival - 2025.

With the message: "Every drop of blood given, a life remains", the voluntary blood donation festival is an annual activity held in Thach Ha.

The festival attracted more than 500 cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers, armed forces, members of mass organizations and Thach Ha residents.

Volunteers participating in blood donation are screened, have their blood pressure measured, have a health check and undergo testing before donating blood.

Blood donation is a gesture that demonstrates the spirit of mutual love and support, demonstrates the noble humanitarian spirit "for the health of the community", and at the same time, contributes to overcoming the blood shortage in medical facilities.

At the end of the festival, the organizers collected 311 units of blood, adding to the blood reserve at the Department of Hematology and Blood Transfusion - Provincial General Hospital to serve emergency and patient treatment.
