Opening this morning's session (April 12), two domestic gold brands reversed and increased sharply from 500,000 to 1 million VND per tael following the increase in world gold prices.
At 10:30 a.m., Saigon Jewelry Company, Doji and Phu Quy all listed the buying and selling prices of SJC gold in the range of 102.7-106.2 million VND/tael, an increase of 1 million VND/tael.
At the same time, the price of gold rings at Phu Quy Company increased by 400,000 VND/tael, currently trading at 101.20-104.70 million VND/tael.
Bao Tin Minh Chau Company announced the price of plain round gold rings from 100.50-105 million VND/tael (buy/sell), an increase of 500,000 VND/tael compared to the morning session.
The price of SJC 999.9 gold rings also increased by 500,000 VND per tael, currently trading around 101.4-104.9 million VND/tael.
However, the gap between buying and selling prices was widened by businesses to 3-3.6 million VND/tael, 1 million to 1.6 million VND higher than the previous session.
In the world, this precious metal fluctuated around 3,236 USD/ounce this morning, up 36 USD compared to the previous closing price. This price is equivalent to nearly 101 million VND/tael when converted according to the USD exchange rate at Vietcombank./.
