Improve the efficiency of reviewing fire prevention and fighting design documents

On the afternoon of March 20, the Supervisory Delegation of the People's Council of Da Nang City, led by the Head of the Legal Committee of the People's Council of Da Nang City, Luong Cong Tuan, had a thematic supervision session on "the work of reviewing and approving design documents on fire prevention and fighting in the city" at the Management Board of investment projects for construction of civil, industrial and technical infrastructure works.

According to the report of the Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Civil, Industrial and Technical Infrastructure Works, the work of preparing and submitting for approval of fire prevention and fighting design dossiers for projects in the city from December 15, 2022 to December 14, 2024 was carried out in accordance with the provisions of law. The total number of projects with public investment capital or other sources of capital is 32 dossiers, of which 29 dossiers have been completed on time, 3 dossiers are being edited for approval; there are no overdue dossiers, dossiers that have been returned or supplemented many times. However, in the process of preparing dossiers for approval of fire prevention and fighting dossiers for some upgraded and renovated projects on the basis of existing works, meeting new fire prevention and fighting standards and regulations is very difficult. The review of fire prevention and fighting dossiers from the first submission of dossiers to the final review of some projects has been prolonged due to the limited capacity of the design consultancy unit, and the coordination in editing design dossiers has not met the requirements. The Management Board also recommends that the fire prevention and fighting dossier review unit increase support and have a more effective coordination mechanism with the Board in the review of fire prevention and fighting dossiers./.
