Beauty queen Nguyen Thi Le Nam Em was fined 37.5 million VND by the Department of Information and Communications of Ho Chi Minh City for being noisy during her livestream.

The information was announced by Mr. Lam Dinh Thang, Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Ho Chi Minh City on the afternoon of March 1. Nam Em was administratively fined for providing information that caused panic among the people and insulted famous people and national heroes. He was administratively fined, but not to the extent of being prosecuted for criminal liability.

The decision to impose the penalty was made after the agency coordinated with the Cyber ​​Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police to invite Nam Em to work on providing information on social network accounts.

Previously, Nam Em continuously organized livestreams on social media accounts. During these sessions, she recalled her past tumultuous love affairs, not afraid to reveal the dark side of showbiz. In addition, she also made a statement mentioning President Ho Chi Minh in a livestream. Nam Em's controversial content was assessed by authorities as causing a stir on social media and a lot of negative information.

In addition to the fine, the Department of Information and Communications also requested Nam Em to stop the above acts or it will consider aggravating circumstances according to regulations. At the same time, the Department of Information and Communications will coordinate with relevant agencies to apply preventive measures according to legal regulations.

The Ministry of Information and Communications also coordinates with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to build two lists - white and black. In which, the black list includes violators, the management agency does not encourage advertisers to cooperate and support, thereby helping the network environment become increasingly clean.
