Nam Dinh officially puts Ninh My ferry terminal into operation

According to information from the Nam Dinh Department of Transport, Ninh My ferry terminal will officially operate from tomorrow (September 22).

The unit managing and operating Ninh My ferry terminal in 2024 is Nam Dinh Bridge and Road Construction and Management Joint Stock Company.

Ninh My ferry terminal is located on provincial road 488C across Ninh Co river, connecting Nghia Lac commune (Nghia Hung district) and Hai Giang commune (Hai Hau district); established under Decision No. 653/QD-UBND dated April 2, 2024 of Nam Dinh Provincial People's Committee on the basis of the current status of the existing wharf infrastructure that has been invested.

Here, arrange at least 2 towing (or self-propelled) double-blade ferries; 1 single-blade (or double-blade) ferry.

In the immediate future, to ensure traffic, Ninh My ferry terminal has one double-blade ferry vehicle permitted to carry 50 people and 30 tons of cargo; based on the actual situation, the number of vehicles operating at the terminal will be supplemented by the Department of Transport in the coming time.

Ninh My ferry terminal is organized to ensure traffic for people and vehicles passing through 2 shifts/day, each shift works 8 hours/day; operating time is from 5am to 9pm daily.
