Consulate General and guests from India

Mr. Madan Mohan Sethi said that because the geographical distance between the two countries is not too far, only 3 to 4 hours flight. Many additional routes are exploited by Vietjet, Air India, Vietnam Airlines, making travel easier. In particular, the direct flight from Da Nang to Ahmedabad that was just announced has also demonstrated the consistent spirit of the two governments in their commitments to enhance connectivity between the two countries.

This is the first time the famous singer Shibani Kashy has visited and worked in Vietnam - a country that is still very new to her. Besides, she was also quite surprised to know that Vietnamese audiences have very little information about Bollywood, especially music. Therefore, through the performance at VOH - Ho Chi Minh City People's Radio, she hopes to bring Bollywood closer to Vietnamese audiences in general and young people in particular.

She also shared her desire to collaborate with Vietnamese singers and musicians to create songs that combine Vietnamese and Indian cultures. After her tour in Ho Chi Minh City, she will also release songs filmed in cities in Vietnam.

On this occasion, The Radisson Phan Thiet Hotel in collaboration with the Indian Consulate organized the Indian - Vietnamese culinary competition. The time was from August 15 to September 7 in Phan Thiet City, Binh Thuan Province. Although organized on a small scale, this was the first competition on Vietnamese and Indian cuisine to be held.

The two events marked the friendly cooperation and cultural exchange between the two countries after Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's visit to India in early August.
