In September, Tre Publishing House launched the latest book by writer Nguyen Nhat Anh - Unnamed Summer .

The setting of Nameless Summer takes place in Do Do village (Quang Nam) - where the author was born and raised. He created a village "exactly like the village I felt when I was a child", with many lives, many details, many identities.
"Through this book, I want to embroider a picture of my childhood village, in which each character and each fate is a colored thread of the embroidery," said the writer.

The nameless summer of the boy Khang, was not only about climbing trees to pick fruit and hanging out with the lovely and kind Nhan who loved to raise deformed fish, but also Ti, Chinh, then Tuc, Dinh... had to face the challenges of fate. Later, Khang had to leave Do Do village to move to town to continue his secondary school studies.
With Nameless Summer , writer Nguyen Nhat Anh was inspired by familiar and close things: village scenery, childhood games, first love, friends, school...
The work has childhood stories with countless mischiefs, thrilling "light touches" and countless memories.
As the innocent days of friendship gradually pass, the children in each simple family grow up to witness touching moments of love stories, the desire for peaceful happiness, and awkwardly enter adulthood filled with love and hardship.

Nguyen Nhat Anh has a special fondness for summer. He once shared that the innocent and mischievous summers of his childhood naturally entered his works.
"Because in my memory, being a student means being attached to the summer days of free play. Those dreamy summers even became the titles of two books I have published: Red Summer and Seven Steps to Summer," the writer said.
This time, the summer atmosphere is bustling once again in Nguyen Nhat Anh's latest work. But why is it Nameless Summer ?
"That was a very special summer for me. After that summer, my life changed forever.
So I wanted to give it a name so that it wouldn't be like the other summers in my life that I remember. I thought about calling it The Summer of Farewell, The Summer of Sorrow, The Summer of Fate , or the cheesy Summer of Purple Clouds, but then I found that none of the names really fit.
In the end, I thought if I had to give it a name, I would call it Nameless Summer .
Well, my special summer doesn't need a special name when every time my mind goes back to that period, I always feel troubled. It has carved indelible marks on my fate - like a birthmark that people must carry with them until the end of their lives", excerpt from the work.
