Dismissal of Vice Chairman of Bac Lieu Provincial People's Council

On the afternoon of August 23, at the 18th session (special session) of the People's Council of Bac Lieu province, delegates unanimously agreed to dismiss Mr. Phan Nhu Nguyen from the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.

Mr. Lu Van Hung, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Bac Lieu province (right cover) presented flowers to congratulate Mr. Phan Nhu Nguyen.

Mr. Nguyen was also dismissed from his position as a delegate of the People's Council of Bac Lieu province, term X, 2021-2026.

Thus, currently, the People's Council of Bac Lieu province has a Chairman, Mr. Lu Van Hung, and a Vice Chairman, Mr. Bui Tan Bay.

Previously, Mr. Phan Nhu Nguyen was mobilized and appointed by the Politburo to join the Party Delegation of the Vietnam Farmers' Association, term VIII.

On July 19, at the 3rd meeting of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, term VIII, Mr. Nguyen was elected Vice President of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, term 2023-2028.

Mr. Phan Nhu Nguyen (48 years old, hometown Hoa Binh district, Bac Lieu province), master's degree in Economic Law.

Mr. Nguyen has held the following positions: Deputy Director and then Director of the Department of Finance of Bac Lieu province, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Lieu province, Secretary of the Bac Lieu City Party Committee, and Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Bac Lieu province.

In January 2021, Mr. Nguyen was elected as an alternate member of the 13th Party Central Committee.
