The subjects who are exempted from paying for visiting the scenic spots of Ha Long Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay include: Children under 1.2m tall (or children under 7 years old); people with extremely severe disabilities, people with severe disabilities as prescribed in Article 11, Decree No. 28/2012/ND-CP dated April 10, 2012 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on People with Disabilities.

The subjects who are entitled to a 50% reduction in the entrance fee to the scenic spots of Ha Long Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay are the elderly (Vietnamese citizens aged 60 and over as prescribed in Decree No. 06/2011/ND-CP dated January 14, 2011 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on the Elderly).

Regulations on 20% discount on sightseeing fees at Ha Long Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay are for children from 7 to 16 years old.

To be granted a free pass or buy a discounted ticket to visit Ha Long Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay, visitors must present full identification documents (Birth Certificate or Passport, Disability Certificate, Identity Card or Citizen Identification Card...) at the ticket counter of Ha Long Bay Management Board at the cruise ports.

In case of using level 2 electronic identification account on smartphone, you must log in to the account and display your Citizen Identification Card. When going through the ticket gates to visit Ha Long Bay, those who are exempted or have reduced fees must present the exemption paper or reduced ticket according to regulations.
