The clear river water and natural limestone mountain system make Trang An one of the biggest tourist attractions in Vietnam.
Located 100km (62 miles) south of Hanoi, Trang An (Ninh Binh) is known as "Ha Long Bay on land", with its wild beauty and charming landscapes. This is also the most popular tourist attraction in the North today for domestic and foreign visitors.

Currently, Trang An Ninh Binh, a world natural and cultural heritage recognized by UNESCO, is one of the most attractive destinations in Vietnam.
"To explore this place, we boarded a gently swaying boat. The boatman rowed at a rhythmic pace past towering limestone cliffs, lush rainforests and winding cave systems. This is Trang An - an attractive destination in Ninh Binh (Vietnam)", the author and experiencer described.
The author writes that as soon as we left the capital Hanoi, we arrived in Ninh Binh. The fascinating scene appeared before us: "Water buffalo dozing in the sun and the village with local people living. The pace of life here is quiet and peaceful".
However, according to the author, there is still a bustling movement at Trang An wharf. Boats carrying tourists bob on the surface of the water. Tours are scheduled tightly to avoid crowded boats entering the caves.
The space is quiet during the boat ride experience on the river, except for the "ahh" sounds of surprise from visitors when the boat enters the cave and visits the surrounding landscape.
"When entering the cave, our guide reminded everyone to lower their heads. The scene in the cave was sparkling with attractive and vivid stalactite colors," the author wrote.
Many other attractive destinations
Explore Van Long Lagoon - the filming location of the famous movie Kong: Skull Island in Ninh Binh. About 80 km from Hanoi, Van Long Lagoon is located in Gia Vien District, Ninh Binh. With its wild and poetic scenery, Van Long Lagoon is not only a green tourist destination but also appeared in the blockbuster movie Kong: Skull Island.

The picturesque landscape made it one of the filming locations for the 2017 Hollywood film Kong: Skull Island.
According to the author, the stunning landscape here has made Trang An famous on social media - and now the area is preparing for a surge in tourist numbers.
Those who want to explore Trang An can go by bicycle or boat. Narrow roads wind through settlements with small farms, past vegetable gardens and rice fields surrounded by tropical forest mountains.
The next destination is the ancient capital Hoa Lu, built in 968 AD as a military fortress and experienced its golden age under three consecutive dynasties: Dinh, Tien Le and Ly with historical imprints.
Today, this is a place to hold spiritual and cultural events. The ancient capital of Hoa Lu is surrounded by layers of rocky mountains forming a wall, surrounded by a river as a moat, in the middle is a palace.
In addition, when coming to Ninh Binh, according to the author, it would be a pity if visitors did not visit Hang Mua because this is an extremely unique place to see the whole view of Tam Coc from above with many unique features.
And everyone needs strength and energy for the hike to Hang Mua, about 10km away. The highlight is not the cave, but an observatory on the mountain above.
Hang Mua has geological and geomorphological features typical of limestone mountains that are millions of years old. The highlight of Hang Mua tourist area is Mua mountain and unique architectural works.
First of all, there is the path leading to the top of Mua Mountain with both sides of the stairs being beautifully carved stone statues in many unique artistic shapes such as majestic and imposing dragon and phoenix images.
In Vietnamese folk culture, these are sacred animals, often carved in ancient architectural works to increase prosperity.
"It is a sweaty climb up the 500 steep steps to the top. With the humidity high, frequent water breaks are a must. The breathtaking 360-degree panoramas of the seemingly endless limestone peaks, lush green rice fields and meandering rivers will reward the effort," the author writes.
The landscape here is one of the most beautiful destinations in Vietnam. And looking from above, one thing is for sure, the land here is very fertile./.
