Specifically, after adjusting the price down, traders in Bac Giang, Hung Yen, Ha Nam, and Ninh Binh reduced the purchase price of live pigs to 67,000 VND/kg, equal to Yen Bai and Vinh Phuc.
Adjusting both prices down, traders in Nam Dinh and Hanoi lowered the purchase price of live pigs to 66,000 VND/kg, equal to Lao Cai, Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, and Tuyen Quang. This is the lowest price in the region.

The highest price in the region of 68,000 VND was recorded in Thai Binh.
Latest live pig prices in the Central Highlands region
In this area, the price of live pigs today decreased slightly following the general market trend and fluctuated between 62,000 - 67,000 VND/kg.
Accordingly, after adjusting the price down, traders in Dak Lak and Ninh Thuan are purchasing live pigs at 62,000 VND/kg, equal to Khanh Hoa, Binh Dinh, and Quang Tri. This is also the lowest price in the region.

On the other hand, after the same price reduction, traders in Thanh Hoa are buying live pigs at 67,000 VND/kg, equal to Nghe An. This is the highest price in the region.
Also with a price reduction, traders in Binh Thuan are purchasing live pigs at 63,000 VND, equal to Quang Ngai, Quang Nam, and Thua Thien Hue.
The remaining localities recorded live pig prices at 64,000 - 66,000 VND/kg.

In the Southern region, the price of live pigs today decreased slightly by 1,000 - 2,000 VND/kg and fluctuated between 63,000 - 65,000 VND/kg.

Accordingly, after a price reduction, the price of live pigs in Ca Mau, Dong Thap, and Long An has dropped to 65,000 VND/kg, equal to that in Hau Giang, Can Tho, and An Giang. This is also the highest recorded price in the region.
On the other hand, after a price reduction, the price of live pigs in Dong Nai dropped to 63,000 VND/kg, equal to that in Tien Giang and Bac Lieu. This is also the lowest recorded price in the region.
With the same price adjustment, traders in Binh Phuoc, Ho Chi Minh City, Tay Ninh, Vung Tau, Kien Giang, Soc Trang are buying live pigs at 64,000 VND/kg, equal to Vinh Long, Tra Vinh, Ben Tre.
With a decrease of 2,000 VND/kg, the price of live pigs in Binh Duong dropped to 64,000 VND/kg.
In general, the trading price of live pigs today decreased by 1,000 - 2,000 VND/kg nationwide. Currently, the surveyed price in the provinces fluctuates between 62,000 - 68,000 VND/kg.
