Northern region

The price of live pigs today (February 20, 2025) in the Northern region continued to record an increase in the provinces of Bac Giang, Yen Bai, Thai Binh, Hanoi and Ninh Binh, an increase of 1,000 VND per 1 kg.

Currently, the price of live pigs in this area fluctuates between 70,000 - 72,000 VND/kg. Of which, Lao Cai and Nam Dinh are the two localities with the lowest price of live pigs in the region at 70,000 VND/kg. The remaining provinces have common prices of live pigs from 71,000 to 72,000 VND/kg.

Central Highlands region

Similarly, the price of live pigs today (February 20, 2025) in the Central Highlands region, most localities witnessed an increase of 1,000 - 2,000 VND/kg, except for Hue and Ninh Thuan where prices remained stable.

Currently, the price of live pigs in this area fluctuates between 70,000 - 74,000 VND/kg. During the price increase this morning, Lam Dong is the locality with the highest price in the region at 74,000 VND/kg. On the contrary, Hue and Quang Nam sell the lowest price of live pigs in the region at 70,000 VND/kg.

Southern region

Pig prices in the Southern region today (February 20, 2025) continued to increase in most localities and increased by 1,000 - 2,000 VND/kg.

Currently, the price of live pigs in this area is still fluctuating between 73,000 - 75,000 VND/kg. This is also the area with the highest price of live pigs in the country, in which Dong Nai and Ben Tre set the highest price in the country at 75,000 VND/kg. Many other localities such as Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Tay Ninh, Soc Trang... recorded a price of 74,000 VND/kg.

In general, the price of live pigs today (February 20, 2025) witnessed an increase again in all three regions. Currently, the price of live pigs is being traded in the range of 70,000 - 75,000 VND/kg. In particular, some southern provinces set the highest price in the country at 75,000 VND/kg.
