Reaches a new peak of 75,000 VND/kg

Today, February 20, 2025, live pig prices continued to record a sharp increase across all three regions. In particular, the Southern region reached a new peak at 75,000 VND/kg.

Northern region

Today's live pig prices (February 20, 2025) in the northern region continued to increase in the provinces of Bac Giang, Yen Bai, Thai Binh, Hanoi , and Ninh Binh, rising by 1,000 VND per kilogram.

Currently, live pig prices in this region fluctuate between 70,000 and 72,000 VND/kg. Lao Cai and Nam Dinh have the lowest live pig prices in the region at 70,000 VND/kg. The remaining provinces have common live pig prices ranging from 71,000 to 72,000 VND/kg.

Central and Central Highlands region

Similarly, today's live pig prices (February 20, 2025) in the Central and Central Highlands regions saw increases of 1,000 - 2,000 VND/kg in most localities, except for Hue and Ninh Thuan where prices remained stable.

Currently, live pig prices in this region fluctuate between 70,000 and 74,000 VND/kg. During this morning's price increase, Lam Dong province has the highest price in the region at 74,000 VND/kg. Conversely, Hue and Quang Nam provinces have the lowest live pig prices in the region at 70,000 VND/kg.

Southern region

Pork prices in the Southern region today (February 20, 2025) continued their upward trend in most localities, increasing by 1,000 - 2,000 VND/kg.

Currently, the price of live pigs in this region remains fluctuating between 73,000 and 75,000 VND/kg. This is also the region with the highest live pig prices nationwide, with Dong Nai and Ben Tre setting the highest prices in the country at 75,000 VND/kg. Many other localities such as Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Tay Ninh, Soc Trang, etc., recorded prices of 74,000 VND/kg.

Overall, today's live pig prices (February 20, 2025) are showing a renewed upward trend across all three regions. Currently, live pig prices are trading in the range of 70,000 – 75,000 VND/kg. In particular, some southern provinces have set the highest price in the country at 75,000 VND/kg.
