Southern region reaches peak

Today, February 22, 2025, the price of live pigs remained stable in the North and Central-Central Highlands regions. The South saw a sharp increase, reaching a peak of 76,000 VND/kg.

Northern region

Today's live pig prices (February 22, 2025) in the northern region continue to remain stable in many provinces and cities.

Currently, live pig prices in this region remain in the range of 70,000 - 72,000 VND/kg. Specifically, 72,000 VND/kg is recorded in Hanoi , Bac Giang, Hai Duong, Hung Yen, and Thai Binh. Conversely, Lao Cai and Nam Dinh are the two localities with the lowest live pig prices in the region, at 70,000 VND/kg.

Central and Central Highlands regions

Similarly, today's (February 22, 2025) live pig prices in the Central and Central Highlands regions remained stable at around 70,000 – 74,000 VND/kg.

Lam Dong currently has the highest price in the region at 75,000 VND/kg. Conversely, Hue and Quang Ngai have the lowest live pig prices in the region at 70,000 VND/kg.

Southern region

Today (February 22, 2025), the price of live pigs in the Southern region recorded an increase of 2,000 VND in Dong Nai and Ba Ria - Vung Tau provinces, reaching 76,000 VND/kg. This is the highest price for live pigs nationwide.

Currently, live pig prices in this region remain fluctuating between 73,000 and 76,000 VND/kg. Dong Nai and Ben Tre have the highest prices nationwide at 75,000 VND/kg. Other localities have live pig prices ranging from 73,000 to 74,000 VND/kg.

Overall, today's live pig prices (February 22, 2025) remained stable in the North and Central regions, while the South maintained its upward trend and set a new peak price of 76,000 VND/kg. Generally, live pig prices are trading in the range of 70,000 – 76,000 VND/kg.
